Are you buying polycarb sheets and cutting it to size yourself ?
This would be the cheapest option for us all if we had time effort to take out windows and size up

As above are you making these yourself?

Yoof

Nah, chap on Club GTi.

Getting them hardcoated, I wanted a green stock tint too but he can't do that.

Once I've test fitted and tweaked the slider mech, I'll write a guide, and do a group buy if people are interested.

randombadger69

Cool. Not sure whether these would be a good idea on a daily though, for security reasons.

Yoof

I'm going to run a locking pin inside on mine, so you can't pull the window down from outside, as safe as a stock window can be.

Yoof

Pulled the car out the garage today, gave it a quick wipe over ready for the bodyshop.

Door stripped for new windows:

Really can't wait to use this on the road again  ;D

Also rebuilt my LSD this afternoon, wanted to inspect everything after 2nd gear was floating around the box for a lap of Oulton.

All back together, no damage, and minimal contamination so that's a result. Will stick it in my spare box this week hopefully, then while the car's away I can get the box/engine put together and start getting parts ready for a quick build when it's back.

Etches

Looking good yoof. Any plans for the engine while the shells at the body shop? Im keen to see how the shell looks when the body shops finished!

Yoof

Not really- once it's roadworthy I'll probably get Andy to take a look at the map and refine things at crusing speeds as we concentrated of transients and full throttle at Bruntingthorpe. Other than that the same old setup, bigger oil cooler planned at some point will be needed.

Yoof

Prep has started on the car  :)

Awesome! The arches tie in really well, I wasnt sure on how it would look with em on but they look tidy!

Yoof

Aye, I'm hoping once the bumpers are blacked and everything it clean again it should look a litte better, orange indicators deffo going back on  ;D

randombadger69

Bonnet is just plain rude! It'll be good to see her reassembled to ultra light spec! 8)
