Richard- remember the struts aren't stock
I've not measured the steering arm height compared to stock- but have some fag packet maths with my wheel/tyre combo and spring choice the steering arms aren't far off level. The cup car kit doesn't really do travel...
Shimmed with a choice of either slip in nylon spacers, or dismantle and fit metal rings, or remove them.
I guess the cage & all associated metal is 40kg and probably a few kg of welding wire into the chassis stiching.
Target weight is 800kg. Stock G40 is 830kg my rough reakoning:

Car still has all steel panels, and full glass- I can crop a further 20kg with a bonnet change and plastic rear windows, which I might do in the winter. Having said that 800kg and 230bhp should be ample!
