Painted the engine bay and interior now  :)

Used some rattle cans I had mixed up- 2pac stuff, was about £9 a can and I used 6 cans on the cage and engine bay.

Still needs buffing, but it's nice for everything to be red now instead of primer.

Carpet/seats/harnesses/headlining/windows in next.

Looks good mate I like the balck and red with the grille, I did mine a while ago used rattle cans came out well mine was 1k paint though. Did loadsa prep especialy after the stich welind wire wheeled it rust treatment then seam sealed it but I've got flash rust coming up from under the paint now the paint is still intact and if you wipe it it looks fine bit of a pain in the ass as the prep to ages!!
Good job doing the bulkhead aswell (mine was oo realy and too lazy to remove everything so didn't bother with mine) realy coming on now, when do you hope to have it up and running ??

Yoof

Some recent pics, doorcards now in- took ages to get these to fit right, they'll never be perfect as the door isn't 100% flat:

Battery box bolted in:

Carpet cut around cage:

Headlining in- this was an utter pain in the arse with a cage in the way, the headlining took me a full day (6/7hrs or so) to do, the cage is so tight I can't physically get it past in one area!

It's a little creased from storage, but hoping that will go once the windows are in.

Rested the seats in to get an idea of room:

Still got to make a mount for the passenger side, and tried the harness in:

All for now  :)

Pah! Pretty average really. 4/10 for effort. Must try harder. :D

Funking stunningly awesome!!!!!

Yoof

Cheers Chris  :P :)

Took all day but the dash is finally in now, had to chop both ends off it, and rebuild it around the cage, quite happy with it though.

Dorrcards are fitted with some new doorcovers too.

New home for the wideband display:

All for now  ;)

Seats both bolted in now- took all day to get them right:

And finished off the speaker grills:

Track control arms now built up and greased:

:)

PeteG40

those door cards do look pimp

Yoof

Back end is now complete bar fuel lines, new axle mounts:

Put the axle on 3 times to get it square to the chassis, bit of a pain but worth it:

And then put the diffuser on:

And then the wheels:

jez1272gt

good to see this coming along yoof. word of warning though, without tyres the ride tends to be a bit too firm for most  ;D !

Max

Love those wheels especially, did you have them made up?

Yoof

Jez- I need tyres, the ride will be harsh enough  ;D will get them stuck on this week probably.

Max- Wheelsare brand new, but I got them from eBay (for a bargin price) perfect fit at 6x14 ET38  :)

Looking epic now with the diffuser fitting :)

Nice choice of rims, I ordered some Comp 2's the other week to replace my OZ's 8)

Truth, looks like original part ot the car!  ;)
I have wheels with same ET's and J's.
It's a perfect size for wheels, great choice!
