Workshop at work- you can buy them from RS Components Farnell etc.

Swapped the oil feeds for some fresh ones I had, and also put the alternator and lader on to check everything fitted since its been painted, tapped the hole out an all the mounts now too, so everything runs in as it should.

Hopefully a mate can bring his crane round tomorrow and I'll drop it in  :)

Yoof

Engine now bolted in, sorry for the crap pictures, phone was very cold.

Happy with how it looks, another couple of days and it should be running and ready for MOT  ;D Then ready for sale  :(

Please paint that throttle body with the same silver enamel as the rest.

Yoof

Nah, they look crap if you only paint the top part, and are a pain to re-assemble properly without them sticking.

Looking wicked that mate. Spot on. Bet you want to keep it really... ;D

Yoof

Yeah I really do, hence the extras like subframe - but needs must! Mrs has a car and this is car no 4 for me, our new gaff can't accommodate all of them, so this will have to go :(

Yoof

More bis done, despite the snow today, hopefully should have the last few parts arrive this week, and be ready for MOT soon.

Struts that came with the car had knackered wheel bearings, so put on a good set after putting the konis (adjustable) and springs on, and a lick of paint:

New discs and pagid pads:

RBF 600 fluid

All boost hoses replaced with black silicone & new clips:

New earths:

Front end all done:

Few bits of plumbing, wiring loom and boost pipes still to do:

Grown quite attached to this now  :(

Alex

I'm not surprised. Lovely example!

Did you change the charger outlet boost pipe to the original intercooler? if so what did you use?
Wouldn't mind seeing this in the flesh before you sell :) though i think you should keep it

Sure whoever buys it will bring it to some shows  :)

I've not found a charger to IC pipe yet (got a wanted ad up) if no one has one I'll replace it with a length of silicone

Cheers for the kind words!
