Turbine blades seem to have made contact with some debris post rod failure... no trackday for me, and another £££

Its too great of a motor to give up thats the thing, it is basically a Legend.

I hope you dont lose heart in this as its what makes half of the members on here keep modifying there Polo.

Waiting to hear back from Turbo Dynamics about the turbo now, I'm kinda hoping it's toast as it should solve my problems, if not I've got a base engine problem (arse).

Back and running 1.1bar with a broken actuator bracket...  :-\

Lost a fair amount of pre-load on the actuator so got to make a new bracket before Curborough next week.

Back on the road, running 1.3bar currently as actutor braket is still cracked (temp repair), now back on slicks are ready for Curborough tomorrow with Club GTi:
