woodruff key - where from? VW?

Got a 268/268 cam (i believe) for my turbo conversion and a vernier pulley BUT i dont have a woodruff key :( Where can i get one from? Can i use the one on my standard cam & pulley? Hard to remove (heard it can be!). No good with tools so cant really make one.

stock cam pulley key is internal to the pulley I think....

think you'll have to get one made

I didnt get one with the vernier pulley. Its one of those purple ebay jobbies. Will have to find someone to make me one.

If you send me a photo of the slot in your pulley and some di
dimensions I'll knock one up for you if you want I made one for my cat cams one in the end as they send one without. Pm me with photo and some dimensions

Machine shops, re-wind shops and motor factors are all a good bet. My local machine shop keeps a boxfull of all sorts of sizes under the counter.
