I was thinking that looked flocked too!

Apparently this car came to the UK for a bit too.  My old man used to work for VW at ramsgate where vws used to come into the country.  supposidly they weren't allowed to drive it as i think it had some engine problems.   but 1.9 Turbo flat four would be quite something in that!
