on the topic of uprated driveshafts im on the game of finding someone to do some. I dont even have a standard pair as i sold them to someone thinking i had another pair - what a lemon!!

Karl is gonna get some made up, see his thread in this section.
It's only the driver side (long) driveshaft that is uprated though, the nearside short ones are just standard.

i seem to only have  aproblem with the short ones :S ??

i ripped the inner side of the shaft where it was bolted to the box..

i dont quite understand that ?

that's weird, is it the actual shaft that's breaking or the CV joint?

cv.....
i haven't actually literally "snapped" a shaft , but always seem to crumble up the balbairns in the cv..

the one on it the now was fitted from a low milliage 1ltr and never had a problem yet ...

yeah I'd say that has more been down to CV joints being worn out than anything else (or not OEM quality ones).
