well i no longer have a toothed drive belt as it left me on the motorway friday night at 11pm
got recovered eventually after nearly freezing to death.
The car had been sounding rough on idle for a few days and stupidly i wanted to wait till the weekend to investigate,should have retired the car but just needed to get places. It went silent after 1.5k and i dismissed the belt being the issue.
Looking at the pulleys now they looked like they have been abbraised as they are quite shinney in places, so i dont know whether a stone or something had got caught it the belt? sounds silly.
So im going to be ordering a new one, would this be corerect?
