Subframe measurements
« on: August 10, 2015, 02:32:11 pm »
I am looking for the PPP subframe distance between the 2 sets of ARB block holes.

1. Distance between the holes
2. Distance between the 2 sets of holes
3. Diameter of hole for arb blocks bolts

I am modifying a PPS subframe to make it a bit more stable.

aren't these dimensions kind of dictated by the positions of the corresponding holes on the car?  There's not really any adjustment there.

Yes, but mine may be distorted due to twisting. The main one is the distance between the two legs as i will probably get a new plate welded to the subframe as the current one has grooves and not holes

Best bet is to buy a PPP frame...  ;)

Second best bet, fit it to the car, tack the repair sections in (thick washers will work) then remove and weld up.
