What pedal type did you use for the clutch?

I have a floor mounted bias pedal box mate.

i did before use a modified G40 pedal box with a Passat master cylinder on it. i have an experiment going on with a modified pedalbox which fits onto the 86c chassis with a reverse mounted girling master cylinder - but im to busy with a 1000 other things to work on something i dont need at the minute

Jezza-7

Kool, will have a look at floor mounted setups as this would be something i would like to do.

youngprodigys

it wasnt easy to make it fit! you dont get much space and unless you want to sit quite far back its a bugger to fit.
im going through my garage today so as i unearth all the parts i photo them and post them up

Marshall modified the original pedal box to take a clutch master cylinder, but ended up hacking it apart and rebuilding most of it to his own design eventually.

This is on my to-do list at some point.

My new release bearing is fudged already after 5k miles, must have been from driving around with a fucked pedal box for 1000miles
will definitely be going hydro with a floor mounted pedal box

BUMP Taylor man you got any info on the stitch welding on the pedal box? I've just got another one in decent nick but thought it would be a good idea to help it out :)

z3i

Wouldn't even bother dude, the stitch welded one I got from here broke in Switzerland :( not even worth doing, it broke where the pedal pivots are moubted to the flat metal, a different place from my last one, these boxes are seriously flawed, save yourself the ball ache mate
