It is yes, 1995 with a 12 month ticket.

Otherwise prior to having it MOT'd I will sell for 1800 with the spares

Also it passes the mot then would you consider doing 1900 with the 12 months mot and spares?

grungeisdead

#33
Nope and engine is now on 111k, shell on 193k.

The spares will be fitted pre-mot anyway

grungeisdead

Near rear suspension fitted, wheel bearings nipped up, gave the car a once over, will need two new front tyres but bar that it should go straight through, mot booked, will let u all know how it goes!

poynter g40

Ok thanks mate, what's the bhp and pounds/ft?

grungeisdead

its not been rolling roaded with this engine in, the charger is a stage 2 jabba and it has a slightly ported throttle body, bar that engine is standard, so a little over the standard figures but not much.

grungeisdead

Flew through MOT, only 4 advisories,

both front jacking points, slight surface corrosion
rear brake lines - all - slight corrosion
rear braided brake light - slightly frayed

now back in daily duty :)

Took a trip up Scotland over the Easter hols for my cousins wed, recorded some milages

235miles to 40 quid at 137.9 which works out at 36.7mpg - 80 miles were A Road blatting, rest was motorway chilling
310miles to 20 quid at 137.9 , 40 quid at 139.9, which works out at 32.6 mpg - 27 miles around Edinburgh city, 235 return leg, driving steady all the way with a couple of full boost a road overtakes, and a 52 mile round trip to work on Monday.

Bits that have been changed recently.

-Cars had another oil and filter change
-new thermostat housing as the old one was leaking slightly (cracked around one of the bolt holes
-replaced lower track control arms, as the ball joints had too much movement, these were fitted with standard bushes. I have the polybushes if required, but they had degraded quite alot, so steering feels tighter without them.

I need to fit the new bootlock and a new drivers door side trim, as the old one was rough
Currently trying to find the source of a rotational noise on the front, next job is to swap out a driveshaft, side by side and check if its a CV joint causing it.
