would a normal schrink g40 cam be any good for a turbo setup?

PeteG40

most people use 268/268s so yes

or i think chris heys uses a 254/254 (i think both sets of number sright but its early!

cheddarcheese

i think its the 152/276 would that be an issue?

Not directly, no. Probably a bit too peaky to use with a T25 - what size/trim is yours?

grungeisdead

not entirely sure Andy! I've got a couple of pictures, not sure if they are any use to you!

I'm running a newman, schrick turbo copy cam  in my 1.6 turbo £150 new from them  ;D

doesnt a gt cam work nicley with a t25 as tommo proved ??

its running a GT cam atm, but want to get a lairier cam prior to getting it mapped up, save shelling about another 300 quid for a map down the line! but i only plan on running circa 180bhp, not interested in more.

Andy suggested that the GT cam should be more than sufficient for that, so I reckon I will just leave it as is. Will be fitting the 256mm brakes mid-week and will give the car a good drive after that and report back on the characteristics :)
