My options are Finish it and at least use it for a hill climb or something. The car will be 40 years old soon do no MOT/tax potentials. Id get it MOTd anyway If Im doing that. Its dripping with amazing bits and I forget how much time and effort has been put in over the years. The most uptodatethreads were on PSD forums and Scottishvag and both those forums have long gone... So here we are!
Problem is Im moved on a lot. I;m wondering if driving the thing again will be as magical when I first drove it with the turbo!
so anyway...
1.Try and get it going again.
2. Sell it as a job lot
3. Scrap it sell all the bits (probably the best return).
I'll do a bit of 1 regardless I think. See how it goes. Ive had the thing so long seems a shame not to. but then I dont get to it and the whole thing perpetuats and now shit... almost 25 years....

But the blue/white wire is "speed signal for automatic volume control". It's not needed, but if wanted you can connect it to pin 1 on the power/illumination radio DIN plug

I haven't touched it since as I've been spending some time on my black track g40 which I took to Cadwell last Friday and blew the gearbox up

So I really want to build up one of my spare gearboxes and get my black polo driveable again before putting it away in storage, then I'll have space in my garage to work on the red one. First job will be brake lines and fuel lines.
