This is my list so far:

G60 charger
G60 mounting plate for G40
G60 outlet elbow
Induction kit/pipework
FMIC & Pipework
1.5 bar map sensor
5pk 68mm ribbed belt kit
Sytec 135 ltr/hour
Sytec fuel filter
Stainless braided fuel lines
Sytec hose finishers
Bigger injectors? 310cc

You have all on the list, even more than is necessary. You could only add uprated clutch.

can anyone tell me the standard map sensor limit, or its maximum boost pressure that it may handle.

Also advise on buying a G60 charger..
What spec of charger is my best option, is the "rs kit" worth purchasing.

thanks Terry

Andy

Standard MAP sensor is good for 1 bar of boost. 250kPa uprated ones can do 1.5 bar.

Does anything else need to be changed with this like the chip?.

do you have any or had any transmission casualties/problems with yours as I've read your thread and yours is putting out in the region of 200bhp with a nice torque cure if i remember correctly ? Just wondered how a atv  box comes with double original power put through it from a g60 ?

Indeed  :D should be first thing on the list. Without a decent map, the engine won't last to see a charger service!

I haven't had any problems with gearbox so far  :). I have 8P box not ATV.

djtez

ive seen a few posts on box's failing,
i was diggin deep in some research and seen one guy 'STU BAXTOR' running a G60 charger with a 1341cc bottom end running a claimed 219bhp at flywheel :o!

service intervals every 3,000miles :/ !
and the charger lasted a good 18,000 ....

Can anyone advise on the porting on a G60 charger.. ive seen rs rs2, rs3, on sls tuning ive seen RS GT ...

Jezza-7

What you mean by internals? charger or engine?

djtez

Are you answering my post?

if so says 'intervals' as in charger service intervals.

hayesey

Yeah Stu Baxter's was 219bhp, it made that at a rolling road day at Aldon Automotive was pretty impressive. Comedy car too with a massive intercooler on the front

Jezza-7

sorry i miss read, i thought it said internals! DOH!  ::)

djtez

no probs haa im a bit doh at typing anyway!

Ye does anyone have a website or old post from this car so i can see spec list,
ive been up half the night on some german forum motor talk.de

i want that 200+ g60 charger theme goin on! alot of german owners say a well setup g60 charger will be better than most k03 turbo set ups.. but cost a hell of alot more

hayesey

depends what you mean by better.  Probably possible to get more boost and there's no turbo lag (although with a well set up K03 there is no lag unless you are in the completely wrong gear).  Some people will prefer the instant punch in the face acceleration you get from the supercharger rather than a slightly more progressive acceleration from a turbo.  But your drive-train certainly wont prefer it!  Each to their own
