Congrats on the power figure Robin, rear coils are a bit of an arse if they are off a mk1 golf? Should be ok as you've removed the helpers but will have to run them pretty jacked up.

Fitted the rear coilovers without much issue, the car is set at a 40mm ish drop and the platforms are in the middle of the thread travel.

Thats my old cage or one of the 3 i had made a few years back :)

Mine had a sunroof too but i removed it and the cage then fits perfect really well made for a bolt in cage was a very tight fit.

Looking good!

I bought the cage from a guy called josh in stoke a while back so not sure where it originally came from.

As mentioned I couldn't be bothered to remove the sunroof so cut the cage down to fit - its a bit of a tight squeeze in the car now lol.

Not done a massive amount to the Polo since the last update apart from fitting lexan polycarbonate windows and carrying out some pikey weight saving on the front end - laminated photos of the headlights stuck onto some aluminium plates.

I did weigh the car before removing the headlights and the lexan windows and it was bang on 800kg with half a tank of fuel.

Not killed another gearbox yet however I have wound the boost down from 21psi to 18psi just to give the gearbox an easier life.
