Nology Coil
« on: September 14, 2008, 06:20:48 pm »
Hi
Has anyone on here fitted this Nology coil to their G40? http://www.nology.com/images/vwmodulekit.gif
Ive seen a G40 somewhere before using it but since fitting it myself my G40 is not starting so either the wires are different on the Polo than the Golf or the new coil is faulty.
Do i need to swap wires around as the coil and amp were ment for a Golf?

Cheers
Rob

I have a Nology on mine. It is plug and play. Difficult to find a good place for the coil though

Sorry, I can't help you here Rob. I've not seen these before, I take it they're supposed to be a good upgrade? Was it expensive?
Cheers,
Richard.

I recon i've got a dud! Tried it on my Golf just to be sure and still no good. :(
I mounted it no problem in the original place using 2 sections of aluminium and the amp up on the bulkhead.

Does the wiring look the same as yours? Just to be sure before i send it back!

Breadman - Well i thought it would be a good upgrade.......if it worked! :/
Just under £100 from USA instead of £169 here!

tdh-syorks - Not sure about if they cause problems to the car but its giving me problems!

Cheers mate
