And even a lot of stuff that's quicker on paper lacks the urgency of a G40. IMHO it's not that relevant how quick a car actually is compared to other stuff, half the time it's how it makes you feel. That's what I've found anyway.

That's the reason to own them, maximum smile factor.

^^^ definately. I'd love to see 220odd bhp from a G-lader. Life expectancy of charger must be silly short before needing a rebuild.

Everyone here = FAIL that figure is perfectly possible with a G-lader shame it would be of the 60 variety rather then the 40 but its definitley possible as for 0-60 in 4 sec? Has this guy been sanctioned under a certain health act yet? Again 160 is "scientifically" possible but I would like to see a GPS reading 160mph on a G40, would also take someone brave to take a G40 up to 160.

Plus bhp figures are for people with small cocks anyway at the end of the day anyone remember milko doing a 13.9 in a 140bhp G40?

7180 rpm in 5th equals 160 mph with 175/60-13 and standard ATV box.

220 bhp is not difficult in a 1,5L G60

Andy

7100rpm in 5th = blown lader seals. Turbo FTW. :D

no would take an incredibly stupid person to go that fast.

Although caged up and with some proper aerodynamics I would give it a punt ;D

so would i but the road/airfield would have to be nice and smooth! Wouldnt want the car bouncing all over the shop at that speed! 000

Nah, they do not blow until 16000 rpm on the charger, eg 8K rpm with a 65mm pulley

Andy

Should've told that to my lader.  ;) ;D
