Not a bad idea that lance, do you know if there are any roll bars that would be near the correct size in terms of fitment to a polo axel?

The triangular set up that is shown would still be superior in my opinion and give much better control over axel stiffness due to such fine tuning of the tension, however it would be harder to engineer than the arosa set up and probably only something that a true track car would gain any real benefit from!

Im sure one of the old timers could tell you it probably has been done in the past but i guess its not a main stream modification due to the fact its quite a lot of hassel for what might only be a tiny improvment on an everyday car, if you are preparing your polo for the track then it might be something to look into though..

I know of a polo with a triangulate rear axle  ;) :P

Main pain in the arse on the Polo is you need a centre exit exhaust... which means getting rid of the spare wheel well. If there's demand Polo PP could do it as a kit/exchange axle basis. But due to the other changes needed, I guess 99% of people don't want it.

that design on the rolf is the official vag rally/race upgrade. I have an etka schematic one one of the comps/laptops/hard drives so I can stick it up if needed.

I know heg123 triangulated his rally car. His blog thing on club polo has the pics.

I'll have a measure up once I get my car back then if a few people want them...

Not sure how to sell it, as an axle exchange (very expensive to post) and all axles would need to be straight, aquablasted, and then welded, then coated/painted.

Or the easier option, sell it as a kit of parts- but would require somone competent to weld them on.
