Got some pics the other day while the sun was shining -

Tried to capture the best of the colour in the sun, unfortunately the camera in my phone isn't up to much, so this is the best I could manage.

 :D

Got my blank key cut recently - no more paranoia about losing the one and only key now!

I was also given a blank HV profile key - up for grabs if anyone is interested.

I wouldn't post a picture that big/clear of my keys, someone can easily copy their shape and drive away with the car.

It's a Mk3 Polo - a screwdriver works as well as any key!

Would definitely be quicker and easier to break in and then hotwire it, rather than replicate a key from a photo  :D

Finally got round to trying out the trim dye a friend recommended to me. Its very time consuming but looks pretty good.

Definitely darker judged by the half and half ^^

Googled "plasticare trim dye" and several places to buy it popped up - often listed on eBay too.

Ah no wonder I couldn't find it at first. The guy who sells it on eBay has sold out so it wasn't coming up. Typical.

Did a 270 mile round trip through the middle of Wales at the weekend. Many miles of single track stuff in convoy  with Autoshite forum peeps in fantastic weather.

Many thanks to FOAD for the picture^^^

Came back on slightly wider roads!

It was a last minute decision to go - so glad I did!

New project with last project - apologies for non-VW content, but I fancied a change!  :o

This got a half decent buffing up the other day -

I don't enjoy cleaning cars, so it can only mean one thing - show time!

VWNW at Tatton Park - the only show it's been to so far that wasn't at Santa Pod!

Just over a thousand miles since the last test - a poor effort that I'm a little ashamed of!

This made an appearance today thanks to a nice dry day - roll on the salt free Summer!

See how bloated the Corsa looks compared to the Polo - a Corsa used to be a small car a few years ago.  :o
