If you didn't have a G40 what would you have instead?

Just wondering what everyone would drive if they didn't have a G40?

This might not go down too well but if i didn't have a my G40 mk1 project id be looking at getting one of these (maybe not white but in silver or black)

probably one of these

but start off with a cheap one, strip it out and turn it into a track day car, like I have done with my g40. I might even start off with a normal 80 coupe quattro and put the turbo engine into it and tune it a bit.

With out a doubt in the world i would have bought a Lupo GTI in black or arctic blue, and probably still be working out how the fook i was going to afford the turbo conversion.

Or when I sold my G40 last night *sob sob* in the days when I could only have one car .... I had a Mini Cooper S. Good little car and still had the charger which I loved. Until I found out everything was twice as much to change or modify!

p.s. I can't believe you all wouldn't have VW's!!! :p

He put a chrome peep mirror on it the other day

It's got the usual 1500 pre crossflow engine with a few bits...
