Search for Spark plugs with the forum search engine, plenty of topics up there to help you out .

Cheers mate. I had a little look just didn't know which ones to go for

The bosh ones are the best really. I've melted 2 sets of NGKs

Andy

Which NGKs are you using Tom?

Plenty of us running high boost with NGKs and no issues - and some guys with nitrous on top.

Something is wrong then Tom - The NGK are a solid plug (BP8EVX, now I believe BPR8EVIX)

When running gas I melted two W4DPO, but the NGK have been fine.

I would say most plugs purchased from eBay really need checking properly to make sure they've not sustained damage whilst in transit.

I've been using the NGK ones (BP8EVX and BPR8EVIX now) for years without issues.  Never had any issues before that with W5DP0s either but was running much less boost in them days.

I've got NGK BPR7EIX which cross refers to Bosch W5DP0 and W4DP0 so thats why I went for them. Also what is recommended in earlier posts..
The BPR8EIX plugs only cross refer to a W4DP0.

Whats the difference between the BPR7EIX and BPR8EIX? I cant seem to find any..

Andy

The 8s are a colder/harder plug, so more suited if you're running really high boost and/or nitrous. I've used 7s in mine.

Jezza-7

Im currently running 7's on mine, but when i play with the nitrous will it be better to have the 8's?

RyanC

I'm aiming on running just over 200 with a ko3, so I hope 7s will be okay

I used bp8evx when I melted a piston, then an new set when I pinked loads then popped the head gasket. Turned out than there were practically no points left on the brand new plugs!

Andy

If your engine is detting its arse off it's no wonder you melted plugs! If it's getting hot enough to melt pistons or HGs, then the plugs don't have much of a chance either.

for who is looking for W5DPO, they are out of stock untill 2016...

I went for NGK, BPR7EIX's. only did 300 miles but no probs so far..  not running high boost so will be fine i guess.

But aren't the bpr's resistor plugs?

Don't distributor have a resistor allready?!
