Looking at the cost of Quaife shafts for other cars I could prob. see about getting a batch of 10-20 made.

I've got a standard shaft I can send them but it'd be nice to have an uprated one to send too.

I'll get a min order on Monday. Then depending on that and cost I might be able to get them without a group buy.

Ok so I've been in contact with two suppliers.  Drive shaft is in the post to one and the other has provided a price.  Cheaper than the individual price on the first page by some way, with a 'life time' warranty and made with a very high grade of heat treated steel.

Once I have prices from both I'll see about getting a batch made.

First one is looking like £250 region, but is mega spec. F1 grade material.  Prob. a little OTT.

Sent shaft to Quaife the other day, so expecting something more sensible from them.  Ideally want the number 1 at the start of the price.

How long until you know, and how long until they are made? I'm coming close to the time where I'd need the driveshaft. I'd pay the £250 for that one haha.

We're talking weeks into months, not days into weeks.  There would need to be a window for manufacturing.  Hope to get an answer from Quaife in next two-three weeks.

I'm interested in one of these too, as the original driveshaft mated to the 843cc donkey might not be up for constant hard - launches even though power delivery is a little less harsh on turbo motors.
