Yoof

Was plug 1 tight when you took it out?

Etches

Yeah all were really tight. Was a mint runner before turbo went down as I went by something andy said yonks ago about engines having to be running well before the conversion.

Yoof

Compression check next.

Can you explain this:

"Thing is my AFR was reading 10 whenever on 0.2-0.4 boost as my 6psi switch actually needed getting up there. Engine temps were always cool too. "

Soon tell by dropping the oil- if there's enough fuel in it, should light fairly easily, and stink of fuel.

Sounds like something spesh is happeneing with your 6psi switch...

Etches

My switch was intiating full fueling early at around 0.3bar . What I was trying to say was that the engine temp, oil pressure etc etc was looking good.

Yoof

So about 4.3psi compared to 6psi. That on it's own wouldn't cause a massive overfueling issue, I suspect it's combined with another problem, especially if you're saying it's very rich on cruise (part throttle)?

Compression check (wet and dry) then go from there.

Etches

Right today I've done some snooping around

Number 1 cylinder

234 looked good on the bore scope.

Then proceeded with a dry compression check

6 9 8 10

I will do the wet check tomorrow. Looks like cylinder 1 has melted

Yoof

Fuel pump, injectors and filter/lines all good?

Etches

Injectors were cleaned before I got em. Fuel pumps always been decent and the afm always read pretty rich. Looks like carbon deposits but no. 1 pressures not good . What sort of pressure am
