Insurance

Can anyone recommend an insurance company that will sell me a reasonably priced limited mileage policy or similar for the G?

Because the G is relatively low mileage and in very good nick I only want to use it at weekends in the summer as a second car... Can't justify insuring it for 500-600 quid when I'll only be doing minimal mileage.

I was thinking if it would work out cheaper using day insurance but its a bit of a ball ache getting it insured everytime I wanna take it for a blast $:-\$

wont be good for everyone, there's no way around just ringing as many as you can. comparison sites are useless, especially for modified or slightly out of the ordinary stuff.

adrian flux are good for many too but they don't like my postcode

HIC for me, Brentacre couldn't get anywhere near them.

Sky Insurance for me, though Flux/HIC have been good in the past. Brentacre wanted over 5 times what Sky quoted for my Polo last year!

You could look into classic car insurance if you have another car as your daily driver. (I think Adrian Flux do classic insurance.)

Tried Adrian Flux, £800 a year lol for 3000 miles a year! That's from someone who has 8 years NCB, no points etc!

standard car

no no claims age 32, insured as a classic fully comp for £260 with performance direct. (was £180 last year) 3000 miles a year

Do all G40's come under as a classic car on insurance?

I think generally anything 10-12 years + is classed as a classic. From what I remember of trying to get classic insurance when I was younger, typically a lot of companies won't insure under 21's on a classic policy (this was 6yrs ago)
