Vw polo 6n G40 EATON.... ( Cage in )

hay all i picked up my new car sunday morning... its a 6n polo G40 running an eaton M45 charger fitted....

iv got a few plans for the motor :)

here she is




and here are the plans....

ENGINE;
toothed belt kit,
remap / ECU chip
camshaft
larger injectors
green samco hosing
moving the induction kit
green oil catch can :)
relocating the battery to the boot

BODY WORK;
deleting and hiding the bonnet washer jets
re-spraying the bonnet
fitting armored door plates ( sprayed candy white or the same green and the wheels )

INSIDE THE CAR;
fitting a half roll cage ( sprayed green to mach the wheels )
may be getting some GT3 seats??
fitting green 4point harnesses

and thats all the plans for naw :)

what do we think?

I like it and your plans sound ok...

and here are the plans....

toothed belt kit, - eatons run on toothed belts
remap / ECU chip - good idea
camshaft - probably has an aftermarket cam in it, need to find out what or source a suitable one for remap.
larger injectors - may have some already. if not, probably a good idea for remap


Try and get as much info from the previous owner (or car builder) as possible... will make life much easier!

hmmm good plan ill send him a txt tomoz...i no for a fact its running a standard chip.....

my eaton charger has a normal pulley ( not toothed ) on is so the on it has must be a G40 pulley

ill take off the cam cover tomoz and look for at cam and same with injectors

eatons run a multi rib belt standard not toothed

My mistake of course the m45 doesnt run a tooth belt, half asleep there!!  ::)

had to take out the front seats and what a pain that was :( lol

cage half in, i cut the rear seats to allow the cage to fit in snug :D

and here is the kinda finished article still need to hoover out the rear and fix in the rear supports.. but you get the idea

Take the back seats out completely I reckon!

Yeah, why bother with back seats?

The rozzers didn't like it when I had a white plate on the back of my mk2 Golf. I had to get the slip stamped at an MOT station after changing it and then produce this and my documents. So don't be surprised if you get pulled!

Iv had the the plates on from the day after picking it up with no problems, iv always had pressed plates and they dont seam bothers round here.. Last time I was pulled they only said it was an MOT fail not illegal.... But that was before I had the white on...

Got the rear seats I'n cos IMO I'n my opinion it looks wank and the car I's louder without them so there staying
