just before PSD shut up shop  I remember Steve bringing it to the Club polo vs RTOC day at Stratford long marston airfield.  He was still trying to get it running 100% and was still running experimental maps.  All I really remember was that  it was completely stripped out inc no dashboard, just some clocks cabletied in.  On the same day Andy Strange was running his Polo turbo and it performed bloody well.

As for Steves car now I dare say he still owns it as he still loves his motors and to this day still helps out friends with their cars.

The blue one? It's changed hands a couple of times since. Steve sold it on midway through last year.

nothing that fancy about the chassis, it was basically cup-car spec. It had been in use as a rally recce car when steve bought it.  Not much inside it other than a seat, roll cage (safety devices one as per cup cars), steering wheel, tilton twin master cylinder brake pedal.  Steve built a turbo engine for it using the usual k03 bits but running on Emerald management with a couple of fancy bits such as a 20vt throttle body and inlet plenum welded to gt inlet runners.
