hi guys and girls i was just goin threw my garage and i stumbled on a eaton m45 i have had it for a while and was just wondering is it worth putting it on a g40???is it a difficult conversion??h???and how much did it set you back?? and was it worth it in the end??thanks guys

The hardest parts are fitting the charger so its secure (AW kits had this problem) and getting a suitable map to run the mods.

189bhp been made from a G40 running a standard bottom end with other mods so theres room for big power increases without the rebuild every 20k or so.

cheers matey erm it may sound ditsy but would you have an idea as to were i can get one of these kits or something that would hold it in place better?

Im sure the PSD kits used a modified G-lader mount. I can get you some pics of my set-up if you want?

Ill try and get you some when I get home if it's not hammering it down.

GR40

I made the conversion to an Eaton M45! Basically cause replacing my broken G-lader charger, where I live, would cost me €1800 or more! I spent €700 instead, in total, for a used eaton m45, custom mountings, air filter. a 5pk belt, pulleys and tensioner, pipes and silicon hoses to fit the charger to the original intercooler! No remap was made and it runs fine for the last 2 years! I show an extra 15hp and 2kgm of torque on the rolling road!

Here are some photos of the "making of"! Since then i found out i made some mistakes! like the return hose or the really big tensioner!
