Cool glad the T reg has gone to a good home and Pete hasnt bought it.  :-* The other T reg ended up being stripped to be rebuilt, has this one suffered the warped window scrapers etc that Stu's did from being in the sun?

How well does the Rallye outlet elbow fit?
Theres no o-ring in it so you need to use a little bit of blue hylomar on it to ensure a good seal. Its held on using the thread in the centre of the outlet casing. Fits perfectly but you need to make sure its centred before tightening as it has no dowelling to locate it.

Done 2000 miles in this since built now. It's been sweet but there are a couple of things I want to do over the Winter. The first is to put the gear stick mechanism from the black car into this one as all the bushes etc. were replaced recently. The one in this car is quite sloppy in comparison.  The other thing is to powdercoat the bumper bar and fan shroud as I didn't have time during the build. In the mean time though I've removed the battery and put it to bed for the Winter. Roll on next year!

Had a read, cracking work. Realised where the petrol flap you sent me came from. Thanks again

Not done much with this lately - just fitted some of Pete's pedal rubbers as the originals were hanging off. Best 2 quid spent on the car so far!

Cleaned engine and bay today - also threw on some new leads. Planning a proper tart up of the whole underbonnet area just as soon as work is finished on the blue one. ( don't hold your breath! )

Proper buffing session yesterday - amazing how much crap sticks to a car sat in a garage over winter!

Cheers guys! Got fed up with stone chips down the sides and rear wheel arches of the black car hence big flaps (ooer!) I think the charger outlet is the same pattern as a golf Rallye one - its use means an off the shelf 150mm by 76mm 90degree hose fits perfectly to the intercooler. Came as part of the PSD intercooler kit.

Not done anything with this for months due to work on the other car. Fancied a bit of a break fron the unit today so dug this out for a decent blast. All good until I put it away and broke the cables on the garage door. Can't get it out now without 2 people present to hold the door open. More expense!
