Audi S3
« on: September 03, 2012, 09:02:24 pm »
51 plate so its a face lift model with the 210 AMK engine so cheaper tax then the BAM one. Car has done 103500, new engine was put in due to cambelt failure and the new engine has covered 12000 miles. Receipts to prove £3266 incl new turbo, manifold, pistons + loads really. New windscreen was put in 1 and half year ago, 3 tryes have covered 10k and the other one is 1k at most due to recent puncture (£130). New clutch pedal (£140), new clutch, flywheel, slave cyclinder and gear oil (£740)

Tax till Dec 31 2012 and MOT 11 Jan 2013

Colour, i thought was azure pearlescent blue but according to new paint code found in boot its colour is Santarine Blue LZ5K (one off colour according to audi)

Top spec Audi with Black leather and Blue Alcantra, Heated and fully electric, Bi-Xenon headlights, Heated wing mirrors and they are the ally ones, bose sound system with cd multichanger in the head unit rather than some others with it in the boot, even has a cargo net for the boot! Only thing thats it dont have from a top top spec one is the cruise control, arm rest and sat nav but i have never seen cruise control or sat nav in them. Can have cruise control fitted though.

Running 265bhp, pulls really well and I average 30-35mpg and on motorway i get 40+

Has a forge 007p diverter valve and K&N air filter and has had the N249 by pass done

Wheels in a good condition, interior is really good and body is good with a few stone chips on front end.

Bad points:

rear o/s one could do with a refurb due to someone going into the corner and scuffing it slightly, alloy is straight though
got a new rear bumper due to scuff/scrape/dent in it so that will be sorted out next week
rust spot under paint on the roof but comes under 12 year warranty so audi are sporting that out
little rust on boot, not covered by warranty as it has been painted in past. Was 1.4-6mm instead of audis standard 1.2mm of paint thickness.
Driver window needs new regulator which is around £80
Service is due in 700 miles but its only 100k which i have been quoted by tsr @ £80, will get haldex filter and oil done for another £80.

Anyone interested at all? Will put pics up if they are.

As for price, i have looked around at other S3's for sale and they are around £4500-£6000 with same mileage but less spec and they dont have an engine with 12k on it. So im asking £5000 ovno which i think it reasonable.

If someone wants it for £4700 without servicing and regulator being done i will take that.

Thought i would ask here before she goes on ebay soon.
