Is there anyway of telling if it has the metal by looking at the gasket?

Distinctly stiffer Tav; non G gasket's floppy.

Wonder why they bothered, it's not like the cam cavity in the head is pressurised by boost and requires a better gasket.  I presume it's got a different part no. as well.  I'll check it out but it's 20 miles away so might take a couple of days.  Pics added in the mean time!
