Hello, thanks for your answer. I try to search in Ebay but infortunaly i didn't found. So I try in VW.

Dont get the ones off ebay mate, most of em are made of cheese!

HV is the wrong profile. unless for an early mk2

you need AH.

Jezza-7

the one i posted is AH. Says on the key itself. Unless the pic is wrong?

they prob use the same pic for all their auctions, I'd go off the description rather than the picture.

I bought one from ebay years ago and it was the same quality as the original VW one, I do notice now there's various prices on there.  I guess the cheaper ones will be the bad ones?  I could do with buying one too really

I bought one off the bay, my mate whos a locksmith took my barrel and made me a key to fit it. Ended up with a blank of his own as he said the keys were poop!

hayesey

how much did you pay for one off ebay?  There seems to be quite a range in the prices of them

DKnight

more examples of why classic parts in germany are cocking things up, they now sell the cheap shit ones as originals. Alot of others then distribute over here saying they are original decent quality.

Its a bit of a mess now to get decent ones

I think I paid around £15 for a key I think, I wanted it to be of original quality.

I paid around £10 i think and it was really good quality, i found it better than my original.
