You talking about the Wilwood 4-pot kit?

is it a different offset?

It's the midilite caliper, the Mk2 golf one is probably dynalite (non dust sealed) so cheaper?

I can't remember what size the piston are, I've got the paperwork with caliper part # on somewhere though, if I find it I'll scan it in for you.

think i have the part no now for this

part no. 120-7471-m16  (m12 mount holes)
midilite 4pot caliper.

Please anyone who are running these, can you tell me what the mounting brackets are, if you know dimensions or which one they are...

£149.50 x 2 calipers
£49.80 mintex m1144 pads
=£348.80 + VAT = £418.56
plus a set of golf discs are £60 = £480 roughly!

where as the kit would be £438.90 supplied with plain discs + vat = £527 ....
Where as the if a bought the kit would be slightly dearer and i wouldn't have the option of buying Grooved discs or better quality discs than supplied..

maybe your thoughts ?

I went through the same thing- and ended up buying the kit from rally design, and using Brembo discs (grooved) I gave the stock 256mm ones to Andy.

Might be worth ringing them and see if they'll knock some money off if you don't order discs.

By the time you've made the brackets and had them coated and got fittings/fastners I'd just buy the kit for the pennies you'll save, at least if it breaks (not brakes) then you'll know who to blame!

Well biting the bullet and looking at the Kit, also Pete's Hi spec's up for grabs..
but the adapter has been shimmed down to fit 239's

might have to play a bit. maybe buy new adapters if possible
