So little update - changed my wheels to a set of 14" Mahles to improve my ride height as the subframe was hitting the floor quite alot on the 13's

Happy with the look but the handling is rather compromised due to the tyre choice I feel, tyres for 14's are such a pain more so on bad offset wheels, not generally a fan of stretch either.
In order to stop them scrubbing on the front I had to change my brake carriers to VW1's which again seems to have made the brakes worse if that was even possible  :P

Couple of most recent photos.

Finally the fuel tank has begun to leak from the neck so going to take it off, try get another one.
Got some other bits planned too for over winter.

Love this car man! Enjoyed seeing you at the last 3 show visits haha. Arches need a bit of work I'd say then get some 185 50s and you will be much happier. Saying that it looks really nice currently and we dont drive like on G40 rally daily lol, well I might do every other weekend!

Thanks Tom, appreciate it. Been great seeing yourself and so many g40s within the last month or so! really on the hunt for some corrado seats after sitting in yours too.

Will try to sort the ride/spring rates and such over winter. going to strip alot down and clean it out and set it up properly.

Wow! Let's not get too excited here... I think you'll find its everyone on this forum that lives too far from me!

They are yours for £30 if you want to collect. They do make one hell of a difference!

Got an integra carbon fibre bonnet I'll chuck in for free too

Thought i'd update this a bit.. haven't had any time/money to really do much on it due to my mercedes dying so hunting for another car... anyway.

Dropped the fuel tank today to find a nice rusty hole from behind the filler neck pipe into the rear quarter. believe there was a metal pipe covering the return fuel line which has rusted away,

I've cleaned the area up. it's a bit awkward to weld in there so going to have fibreglass it up I think, but it could be worse. Can kinda see the hole on this picture if you look through the arch haha.

Started a bit of waxoyle and got a little carried away, need to drop axle/brake lines/fuel pump etc..out next weekend hopefully. getting some bits powdercoated.

Good work! Aiming to do mine at some point, it's just time. Or lack of it.
