Hello All,

I have an original J reg polo g40 which I need to replace the ignition coil on but the part number has completely worn off my original one. I have looked on ebay but the bosch cylindrical ones are completely wrong and the square ones fit but I have gone through 2 in 6months so Im not convinced they are right. Does anyone know what the part number should be or where to get a more durable one?

Thanks in advance!

No idea of the part code but its basically the same as a mk4 polo one. And common to most mk3s too.

What make are you buying? They should last years, regardless of any modifications. Stick with Beru, Bosch, etc... Avoid buying off eBay, there's a lot of extremely poor quality Chinese counterfeit parts on there.
