I bought a new set of NGK plugs off eBay for the g. I know that the correct NGK equivalent of the Bosch W4DP0 is the NGK BP7EVX.

However, I saw these on eBay and didn't notice the code was different. I think that they'll be okay, as I think the P may just stand for Platinum, but I want to be sure before I put them in. What you guys think, do they need to go back on eBay?

Yeah im sure the P is for platinum. My new spare plugs are the same from ebay but got platinum written on the box.

I'd probably stick them back on ebay Chris, it's the platinum-ness that is the unique bit about plugs for a g40.

The seller sent me this:

He also described the following to me:

"B relates to the thread diameter, P means projected insulator, 7 is the heat rating, E is the thread reach and VX means platinum"

Seems ok??

hmm not sure then.  probably ok if it's a standardish g40.

Cool, cheers Hayes.

Only mod I intend to do is a reduced pulley. Not after big power, so everything else is staying stock.

I was just shitting my pants after seeing what happened to Dirt!
