Late/early spec

So... Have an M reg 1.0L. And an early spec G40 lump. Fitted the early spec loom to the car, and its fine, but looks like I'm going to have to nab that to fix another early spec g40 with a wiring problem. Managed to find another G40 loom, which is a late spec.

So other than the pikey thinner wires, am I right in thinking the only difference is whether it has 1 or 2 pressure sensors. In which case whack a late spec sender in and it'll be fine?
