G40 vs mk2 Polo

Ive got a set of koni dampers/eibach springs I took out of my G40 so I could fit coilovers.

My mate has an 1989 1.0L mk2 polo and im wondering if the koni/eibach suspension will fit. The whole hub/strut looks the same but I dont want to go ahead and it not fit.

Also are g40 wheel bearings the same as the mk2 polos?
