g40 piston rings

hi all iv just took the engine out of my g40 to give in a rebuild,iv been to vw to price up the conrod shells ans main bearing shells but finding it hard to get the piston rings.dose anyone know where i can get some from

German eBay. Non gen though and get ready to get your ringpiece lubed up for the price!

For that price you might as well get forged pistons for an extra £350. Got a stronger bottom end as well then.

I saw a set for 50 quid somewhere, but have misplaced the link.  Think it was a german site.
