Electric Windows
« on: October 10, 2011, 04:02:56 pm »
Does any one have or know where i could buy a kit.

Or even have any know how on how to make one.

The only reason i ask is because where ever i have my seat set my knee is always resting on the window winder arm and makes my knee ache like a bitch.

Im half tempted to lower it an inch or two as its pi**ing me off that much but im unsure what the mechanism is like inside.

Take window winder arm
Remove front panel from it
Remove screw
Remove arm
Turn window winder arm to a more comfortable position
Replace arm
Replace screw
Replace front panel
Apply ointment to bruises gained previously from winder arm

Job done ;)

Its not the nobbly bit on the arm, its the complete arm where it goes into the door that my knee catches on.
