Buying Advise

Hi all,

I Have just joined this forum and am looking at buying my 1st Polo G40 (hopefully this weekend).

Was just looking for a bit of advise on what to look for or if there is any common problems to keep an eye out for.

Having a look at a J reg on the weekend, its had a lot of engine work done (more mantained than mod) just the body lets it down, but thats the fun of doing these cars up.

Do you know the reg the the car? Fair chance someone on here might know it and some of its history.

yes its J183 FAS.

Does anyone know of a rough guide of what to pay for a G40, as to its condition.

Mint......

Fair.....
Poor.....
