No more a539s?!?

I've been hearing things for a while that yokohama a539s had been discontinued or at least certain sizes of them.

Well, I was looking on Camskill's website the other day for prices for some 195/45/15 A539s but they only had a couple of 13" & 14" sizes listed.  So I sent them a message asking about it. 

Today they replied saying that A539s are no longer available and the replacement is the S-Drive but these are out of stock and they don't know when they're coming in.

Yokohama A539 R.I.P.? Or still going strong?

Has anyone verified this with Yoko? They still list them on their UK website.
People were saying this 2 years ago, but they still seem to be for sale!

my tyres stopped doing 175 60 13s

but started again??? old stocks or still in production?? who knows

well I assumed that even though they'd stopped being made, it would take a fair while for stocks to run out.

I have emailed yokohama UK directly so lets see if they reply!  Fingers crossed.

They dont do them in standard size. In fact there isnt a lot of choice at all in the standard size which is why it will be great if they are carrying on with them.

if you could ring your contact at yokohama Alex that'd be great.  I've emailed them as I said but whether they actually send replies to mere mortals such as myself is another question.

I've never used T1-Rs because I just like A539s.

The A539 has been dis-continued in many sizes but it is still available in a
handful. If you let me know what size(s) you need I will let you know if it

I sent a reply and mentioned that size yeah.  I've removed his phone numbers and email from that quote because I don't want them getting spammed because of this!

I think 175/60/13 is def discontinued though as people have asked about that before.  I am more asking him if they are planning on discontinuing all A539s since they seem to be cutting the range of available sizes all the time.

I've asked at official dealer in Greece and a539 is still on production...

Ask about 185/50/14 . Will be bad to lose this Yoko size as there will only be three other brands to choose from and out of those only the Conti's are worth the money!
