Alloy radiators

How much interest would there be in custom made alloy rad?.

Would look the same as that, probably with squared off ends rather than the tapered. With original mountings for the fan shroud.

I've gone for a thicker core as well (38mm vs 32mm) as the original core isn't as wide as the end tanks there shouldn't be any clearance issues. I've got one on its way for testing to be sure everything is ok. Will be made to Mk3 polo dimensions rather than the smaller mk2, but if there are 10 interested in a mk2 sized rad I can arrange that too no problems.

Should come out about £140. Most likely plus a tenner for postage unless you want to collect.

I'd have one as long as the board between in the inlet and outlet was completely water tight like the original polo rad plastic end tanks, as I recently bought one from china for a very similar price and you could put water in the inlet and tip through the end tank to the outlet, alot more welding and hassle has made it better but in still not happy with it!

With this, clubpolo, and the people asking me before I even put it up on here there's enough interest, so assuming the tester is sound I won't bother with a groupbuy and just get a batch made up and you'll be able to buy them individually from me. Tester will apparently be just over a month anyway, so looking at a couple untill they are sorted.
