Sounds like i'd be better off then sorting new pistons and bottom end as the car woul donly have to go back into a garage should the bottom end decide its had enough.

I haven't heard back from SE autoworks as of yet so hopefully he can do a good price all in.

cost me around a grand to build mine with all new vag parts but i done the work myself so saved money there

I'd be taking mine to a garage as I don't know enough to do the work myself but thanks for the figure. Gives me something to plan for.

Yoof on here can source Gripper diffs and Quaife are just about to release an ATB LSD.
