New Fuel Pumps?
« on: October 03, 2008, 08:48:14 am »
Im after getting some new fuel pumps as im still running the ones off my old GT engine which is a bit of a ticking time bomb.

Would VAG ones be suitable or is there a need for uprated ones maybe? (G40Turbo)

I don't think you need to worry about higher rate fuel pumps till you get above 200bhp.  Best place for the standard Bosch pump is GSF.  Still about £90 though.  Ask yoof what pump he uses, it's a higher rate one and if I remember correctly it was cheaper than the standard one (but I might have imagined that bit!)

Ah thats ok then, standard one will be fine.
I might aswell get the in tank pump at the same time so its all fresh.
