R1 and Full Blend are basically the same charger porting by two firms. Jabbasport called theirs R1 and the now extinct Pitstop Developments called theirs Full Blend. Chargers with blanking plates have what's called a boost return mod. In standard form the unused flow from the charger just goes round again picking up crankcase fumes along the way to act as a pretty gooey lubricant. With the return mod, that part of the system is removed and you have clean air only through the charger. You have to dose the charger with proper lube yourself. Some folk swear by it/ some don't. See charger FAQ's.
