R1 Chargers

Hello,

Right thinkin about tinkering with the G40 as i love it puts a right smile on my face everyday i drive to work ;D, but i am thinking of taking it of the road to do some repair to it one is to rebuild the charger. i feel fairly confident in do it been reading a few posts on here etc, but is it worth me buy one thats done, i.e R1 am i going to notice a big difference between the two?? i would say i would port it myself BUT that is something im not sure what im doing. many thanks in advance sorry if this is a stupid question

difference between a stock and well ported charger is about 0.2 - 0.3 bar boost on a 65mm pulley
 a 25% increase ish

bloody hell really, what do you think i should do do second hand R1s come up for sell often? and whats the going rate?

r1 and full blend are max ported, but youd not notice much difference over a stage 4.

No not often and maybe £200 as an unknown quantity - up to £600ish for a nicely serviced one with next to no miles on
