R1 spec back to standard
« on: March 29, 2011, 10:56:12 pm »
i was wondering what would have to be done to get an R1 charger back to using a standard airbox, as obviously the air inlet is now the wrong size. easy job, or not so easy? also what would it be like to return to R1 spec?

any hints or tips? not in a rush, but looking to get my noise levels down a bit and save a bit on insurance.

they are ported so you'd have to take the charger off and replace with a stock one.

You'd probably get away with the stock airbox/hose and some hylomar to seal it
