front and rear bumper

hi there!

i'm doing an original restoration, and i'm looking for new bumpers.

do you use to buy new ones from vw or do you get aftermarket?

some people say that the ones that are not from vw don't fit well, is this true?

at vw they are something like, 100quid each, here in portugal..

VWs are best if you can afford them.

in the UK lots of companies do them:

hadrians panels
Euro car parts
GSF car parts

but i think only VW do the rear coupe one all the above appear to be Squareback only.

i have seen some of them and they appear very good quality, but they are a tiny bit wider at the side mounts.( where it slides in) but you would notice unless you point it out to someone!
