There's a world of little turds out there just looking to fuck you up and I really feel sorry for Etches; it could be any one of us. With that in mind how about offering a reward for information leading to an arrest. If we were to stick a fiver in the kitty each for such an event, we could offer a reasonable sum and stick it on the forums. A willingness to defend ourselves might be a deterrent as well.

What a shitter >:(, must be someone local. Did you have the engine number of your conversion? If so, log it knicked with the police/DVLA then at least it might find its way back quicker if its parted out! Any engine on Ebay with ground off number will be a big clue too.

Cant believe someone has stolen your car! I feel really gutted for you. There are some real low life's in this world! Hope the person gets caught and your car comes back to you!

Will keep an eye out around the somerset area.

I'll keep an eye out over this way. Its got to be someone who knows exactly what the car is.

Keep watching eBay, you may see someone braking a G40 or selling a whole load of parts, if you do see this then pretend to be interested and ask for year of vehicle and colour!
It's hard to keep a stolen motor now! Good luck

sorry for your loss dude, hope she comes back in one piece.

In an ideal world that sounds just fine, but when you get your pride and joy back and it's had the arse ragged out of it, your insurance isn't going to cover it. Insurance doesn't cover the skinned knuckles, the  other things you do without in life and your time spent working on your car either. The only satisfaction you get in circumstances like this is finding out who and where...then

Bad times lads.  I really hope you get your pride and joys back.  I can't imagine how it'd feel to have something you love so much and have spent so long working on nicked.  I really hate the 'take what I want' attitude of some of the scum we have to live amoungst.

I had a thought that someone may be using the G40 register thread to target cars, but neither of these two recent successful thefts are on the list.

scotsjohn

As Pete G40 says, the only way these thefts are going to work is as un-declared conversions. There's too small a pool of cars to hide them otherwise. Also, any ways and means suggested on this forum of catching the Kuntz responsible are probably being monitored by them. If you've got something worth while to contribute, PM the idea to the guys who've been screwed.

hayesey

I've always been a bit concerned about the register just being used a a target list for thieves but it doesn't seem to be the case here if these two werent even on it.
